CALL for Entries: Deadline June 15th 2009 - CHEP is Seeking Original Artwork for 2009 Christmas Cards
Chep Good Food Inc. in Saskatoon is seeking submissions of original artwork to reproduce in our 2009 Christmas card collection. Next year will be the 13th year for CHEP's Christmas card fundraising project.
Who Can Enter:
We would like to invite Saskatchewan artists to submit entries that would be suited to a Christmas card- a winter theme is also acceptable. Preference will be given to artwork that has unique Saskatoon content like landmarks or local scenes. Vertical or Horizontal formats are accepted. Card size is 7.25" x 5.25".
We will consider other sizes for exceptional pieces of artwork.
Each artist whose work is chosen for a card will receive a $150 honorarium plus 48 cards featuring their artwork. Artists will also receive recognition on the Christmas cards, in our promotional brochure/order form, and on our website. Last year we distributed over 5000 brochures and sold over 22,000 cards.
How to Enter:
Please submit slides, colour prints, colour photocopies or an electronic file of the artwork (pdf or jpeg format). Please do not submit original artwork. For artwork selected for cards, we do not require the original for reproduction if a suitable slide or high resolution colour scan is available. Ownership and possession of artwork remains with the artist.
