CARFAC SASK is honoured to operate on Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 supporting artists and others across Saskatchewan. This being the land of the Nêhiyaw (Cree), Nehinaw (Cree), Dene, Nahkawē (Saulteaux), Dakota, Nakota, Lakota and homeland to the Métis Nation. CARFAC SASK respects the rights of the diverse Indigenous nations who have stewarded this territory, practicing art here since time immemorial and will work towards the good-faith interpretation of these Treaty agreements, seeking opportunities to incorporate TRC's Calls to Action (2015) into CARFAC SASK's programming and operations..
