Welcome Jera

CARFAC SASK is pleased to announce that Jera Macpherson is our new Program & Outreach Director.

Jera will be starting on June 5th. We are excited to welcome her to CARFAC SASK!

Jera MacPherson (she/her) is a community-driven arts administrator, writer and programmer, living on Treaty 4 territory. She is passionate about participating in the arts ecology of the prairies. You may have crossed paths with her at her former stomping grounds: Neutral Ground Artist-Run Centre (2021-2023), MacKenzie Art Gallery (2018-2021), or seen her name on an exhibition review here and there. She has been published with Galleries West, BlackFlash Magazine, and Capilano Review, among others. She holds a BFA with Distinction from Concordia University (Montreal) in Art History and Studio Arts where she was executive editor of the Concordia Undergraduate Journal of Art History.
