VISITING MENTOR
CARFAC SASK’s Visiting Mentor Program is an advanced mentorship opportunity for mid-career and established professional artists to connect with an artist, curator, or art critic. Each spring, a mentor travels to Saskatchewan to provide private studio visits and/or critiques to support and strengthen the participants' practices. This program is free to CARFAC members and $45 to non-members.
The Visiting Mentor will conduct studio visits and public artist talks in Regina and Saskatoon. Visits in other centres may be offered depending on interest and capacity. Spots are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis unless there are more applicants than spots available, in which case the Visiting Mentor will select participants. CARFAC SASK’s Visiting Mentor Program will resume Spring 2024.
Visiting Mentors have included nationally recognized and acclaimed individuals, such as:
Wally Dion, 2022
